ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Hiring Range: $54,200 - $72,600

The Supervisor of Client Services Support Operations supervises daily workflow and a team of operations support representatives to ensure department processes and requirements are met timely and accurately, while maintaining quality standards. This role assists with the development of best practices and ensures changes to client and internal procedures, or regulatory requirements are implemented, which includes modifications to process documentation, training materials staff training, and through changes being placed into production. The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring workflow, ensuring the team meets business needs, handling escalated process issues due to exceptions, and delivering ongoing coaching and training of staff.

Key Responsibilities to include:

  • Ensures smooth workflow for successful completion of team's daily assignments, tasks, and responsibilities.

  • Uses documentation and business understanding to provide direction and answer team members' questions.

  • Conducts research and analysis to resolve issues, interfacing other department leaders, subject matter experts and resources.

  • Leads by example, achieving excellent results and maintaining compliance and professionalism.

  • Supervise a team of clerical support staff and leads in accordance with policies, laws, and in the best interest of the company.

  • Contributes to continuous improvement by developing and delivering tools and training materials to enhance team's knowledge and efficiency.

  • Assists management in setting and communicating goals and expectations to team members.

  • Review teams' performance regularly, providing direction, coaching, and training as needed to ensure team members' success, maximize efficiency and team results.

  • Participates in staff performance reviews, providing input on recommendations for transfers, promotions, terminations, etc. of team members.

  • Promotes collaboration and teamwork to efficiently resolve team issues and ensure effective performance.

  • Conducts regular team meetings to communicate and implement corporate and department directives, policies, and goals. Monitors and analyzes staff performance, attendance, compliance, and work behaviors to identify potential issues or trends. When needed, will escalate and communicate observations and recommendations to management and/or partner with the People Team to address accordingly.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college or a completed degree is preferred but not required.

  • At least 3 years of experience in progressive clerical support roles is required; experience in the financial services industry is preferred. Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receiving or banking is a plus.

  • Prior experience supervising or managing clerical, administrative or administrative support staff is a plus.

  • Ability to successfully perform assignments with minimum supervision.

  • Ability to adapt to changes easily and assist others to do so.
