Job Overview: The IRC's Resettlement, Asylum, & Integration (RAI) department works to create opportunities for refugees and other vulnerable migrants to survive and thrive in the U.S. and Europe through a diverse portfolio of programs aimed at five core outcomes: Health, Safety, Economic Wellbeing, Education and Power. The Learning and Instructional Design Intern will be part of the Research, Analysis and Learning (RAL) Learning and Instructional Design (LID) team and will play a supportive role in delivering learning and training opportunities to build capacity of RAI staff to raise program quality. Major Responsibilities:The Learning and Instructional Design (LID) Intern will support the team in developing educational materials and facilitating virtual training initiatives to enhance the skills of staff. Responsibilities may include assisting team members in the creation of learning materials such as videos, presentations, and e-learning content; supporting virtual training sessions; helping prepare communication materials; and contributing to training feedback surveys under the guidance of the team. The intern may also assist the LID team in updating resource libraries, managing content in Learning Management Systems, supporting research and desk reviews, and contributing innovative ideas based on emerging technologies and LID theories to enhance training programs.
