All that we're missing is you. Apply today! About the role As a Reworld intern, you will work on projects that have a real impact on sustainability. Students with a genuine interest in developing a career in renewable energy, sustainability, and waste to energy technology are encouraged to apply! We are seeking a data-driven and curious intern to join our team and support key business initiatives around customer retention and revenue performance. This internship offers the opportunity to lead analytics and automation projects focused on identifying customer churn patterns and understanding year-over-year variances in total company revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, interest in business strategy, and a passion for leveraging data to drive insights and operational efficiency. What You'll Do Analyze customer behavior data to identify churn trends, root causes, and high-risk segments. Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports to track customer churn metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Investigate and explain year-over-year revenue variances at the company and segment level. Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on churn drivers and revenue movements. Build and optimize data pipelines, automation scripts, or workflows using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Present findings, recommendations, and process improvements to cross-functional stakeholders. Who You Are Positive, motivated self-starter who can take an assignment and run with it. Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and at least one data tool (e.g., SQL, Python, R). Experience or interest in BI/dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.). Understanding of business metrics such as customer churn, revenue growth, and retention. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
