This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for Senior Manager, International Tax. This position will report to the Senior Director of Global Tax Operations

Job Responsibilities

  • Review US International tax return filings including, but not limited to, Form 5471s and 8858s

  • Assist in the preparation and review of the tax accounting provision process for international operations under ASC 740 and Sarbanes-Oxley.

  • Prepare and review international components of the quarterly and annual income tax provision, including FDII, GILTI, BEAT calculations, and Pillar 2 considerations.

  • Prepare supporting information for and review U.S. international tax compliance forms.

  • Oversee outsourced foreign income tax filings and audits to ensure timely and accurate filing.

  • Coordinate with local teams and review foreign tax return true-up calculations and local tax filings

  • Assist customers with various international tax-related matters.

  • Lead development of complex modelling to compute US and foreign tax consequences of planning strategies and legislative and regulatory developments.

  • Identify, evaluate, and advise management on the international income tax consequences of legislative developments, including computational analysis.

  • Participate and provide support in various international planning initiatives to determine the potential federal and international tax impact and perform technical transaction/reporting analysis.

  • Manage and maintain proper documentation to support various tax related attributes, including earnings and profits, foreign taxes paid, book and tax differences.

  • Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations in collaboration with our internal tax team and external tax advisors

  • Assist with transfer pricing as needed, including oversight of intercompany agreements and managing functional analysis.

  • Effective liaison with other functional areas of the tax department and other departments including but not limited to accounting, treasury, legal, and distribution operations team

Job Requirements:

  • Our work philosophy requires this role to visit the Belmont, CA office at least four days a week.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience at a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department of a multinational public company.

  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, internal controls, domestic tax compliance and audits.

  • Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with a high level of integrity.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals

  • Demonstrate effective communication skills through ability to share results with team members and leadership.

  • MS Excel skills

  • Experience with income tax and tax provision software preferred

  • NetSuite, or other ERP experience required

  • Master's in Taxation, CPA, and/or JD strongly preferred.

If you are hired in Belmont, the compensation range for this position is between $128,450 and $183,500 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
