The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Division of PEDS Gastroenterology is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide scheduling and other administrative support. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities



  • Provide 100% onsite secretarial and administrative support for multiple physicians in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
  • Answer telephone, screen and triage calls; respond to inquiries and take messages.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments; obtain and input all registration information.
  • Provide cross coverage for scheduling GI procedures and prior authorizations.
  • Generate Good Faith Estimates in EPIC, the electronic medical record system.
  • Attend to incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Scan documents (letters, lab results, etc.) into EPIC.
  • Perform general administrative functions, and related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience required.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Two years of related experience.
  • EPIC training and experience.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Bilingual ENG/SPANISH.
