The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Barnhart Lab conducts research to define the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neuronal homeostasis. The Barnhart Lab is an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment committed to promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion in science. The Research Staff Assistant will report to the Principal Investigator. The incumbent will use Drosophila genetics, in vivo microscopy, and quantitative image analysis to study mitochondrial homeostasis in neurons in vivo. This is a full-time position subject to grant funding. Responsibilities
