*About the Role:* As a Banking Member Services Representative, you will be the friendly voice and helpful hand that our members rely on. Your mission is to provide outstanding service, answer general inquiries, and perform account maintenance via phone or email channels. You'll be the go-to person for resolving problems with a sense of urgency, under the mentorship of our MCC Supervisor or MCCR Lead. *What You'll Do:* * *Deliver Exceptional Service:* Promote deep and lasting member relationships by providing outstanding service. * *Handle Inquiries:* Answer general inquiries and perform account maintenance via phone or email channels. * *Meet and Exceed Metrics:* Strive to meet and exceed key critical metrics. * *Problem-Solving:* Research and resolve problems with a sense of urgency. * *Ownership:* Take ownership of member concerns, set expectations, and provide timely follow-up and resolution. * *Promote Products:* Identify opportunities to offer additional credit union products, promotions, and services to members, generating referrals that deepen relationships. * *Stay Informed:* Maintain knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and regulations. * *Team Player:* Perform other duties as assigned and contribute to a cohesive team environment. *Skills and Qualifications:* * *Customer Service Expertise:* A passion for providing excellent customer service. * *Bilingual:* Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable. * *Organized and Efficient:* Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. * *Urgency and Escalation:* Resolve requests with a sense of urgency and escalate timely. * *Effective Communication:* Communicate ideas and information effectively, both verbally and in writing. * *Proactive Problem-Solver:* Take ownership and act proactively to solve member concerns. * *Creative Thinker:* Think creatively to resolve member concerns while adhering to policies and regulations. * *Analytical Skills:* Analyze information and recommend achievable operational improvements. * *Member-Centric:* Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and focus on member satisfaction. * *Educational **Background**:* Minimum of a high school diploma; some college coursework preferred; a degree is highly desirable. * *Experience:* 1+ year experience in call center customer service. * *Professionalism:* Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy with current and potential members, peers, and staff. * *Tech-Savvy:* Proficient with Microsoft Office software and standard office equipment; proficiency with call center programs desired. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
