Job Details

The Neuroscience Project Coordinator is an innovative, driven, problem solver who leads highly visible multidisciplinary projects and solves complex problems. This individual is proficient in project management and process improvement. The Neuroscience Project Coordinator participates in a variety of service-oriented and project-oriented tasks geared around the need to maintain productivity and superior customer experience. The Neuroscience Project Coordinator is committed to superior service and effective, proactive communication, both internally with staff, and externally with other departments and vendors. In addition to coordinating projects, s/he will function as the account manager for the neuroscience network. S/he will develop and coordinate speakers for educational programs and track data and metrics related to the program. The coordinator will provide onsite training for remote presence technology and work with technology vendor to enhance services to neuroscience network members.

The Neuroscience Project Coordinator works within a flexible, self-directed, team approach in which initiative and timely follow-through are valued. A positive, service-oriented demeanor and outlook that puts the customer first is a requirement of this position.

Job Description

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President and Director for Neuroscience to prioritize requests for projects
  • Build trust and relationships within every level of the organization
  • Works independently to proactively identify areas of need and solve problems
  • Facilitates projects from inception to completion
  • Holds project team members accountable to timelines and deliverables
  • Understands or develops an understanding of the latest project management and process improvement tools
  • Functions as account manager for the Jefferson tele neurology and tele stroke programs
  • Maintains an active database of neuroscience network contacts
  • Tracks monthly tele neurology and tele stroke data
  • Tracks quarterly performance metrics related to physician response time for tele stroke
  • Maintains device database and manages physician/staff access to devices/smartnotes
  • Trains network staff on use of remote presence technology and protocols
  • Coordinates speakers for educational events for neuroscience network
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Advanced proficiency with office software (MS Office) including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Intermediate proficiency with electronic medial records (EPIC/CERNER).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent time management skills.

Education and Experience:

BA/BS in business or related field preferred
Project management, customer service
Proven ability to manage all stages of the project management life cycle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership and multitasking abilities.

Project Management Institution (PMI) Certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
