Job Summary |
Auburn University's Student Business & Account Services department is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven professional to join the team as a Billing & Receivables Coordinator. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the university's billing and receivables processes, ensuring accurate financial transactions and providing critical administrative support. |
Essential Functions |
- Maintains and balances billing/receivables system and accounts.
- Generates, reviews, analyzes, reconciles and processes reports and accounts.
- Responds to questions regarding entries in the billing system.
- Coordinates with other University offices to obtain listings of student transactions to be entered into the Billing/Receivables system.
- Oversees the Direct Deposit of student funds, which may include (but not limited too) correcting errors and responding to refund questions.
- Monitors and reports errors in the student Billing/Receivables system.
- Assists the Billing/Receivable Manager with schedule cancellations and clearances.

Level I
- High school dipoloma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience OR
- Associate's degree plus 2 years of experience OR
- Bachelor's degree
Level II
- High school dipoloma or equivalent plus 6 years of experience OR
- Associate's degree plus 4 years of experience OR
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience
Scope of Experience: Experience in financial support services |

- Knowledge of extensive body or rules, precedents, procedures applicable to administrative support work.
