As a R&D Lab Technician, you will assist the R&D team by providing technical support to the global API organization in the verification of products thermal and hydraulic conformance, to required customer specifications.

What You Will Do:

As an R&D Lab Technician, you'll be at the heart of our innovation lab, helping us test and refine the next generation of heat exchangers. Your work will directly influence product performance and customer satisfaction across the globe.

• Set up and run thermal and hydraulic performance tests on heat exchangers (aftercoolers, oil coolers, radiators, etc.)
  
  Design and build custom test rigs for specialized testing
• Control and troubleshoot problems related to test stands and the lab equipment
• Ensure proper calibration of all test equipment and advise when equipment is not functioning or out of calibration
• Ensure the lab is kept safe and clean

What You Bring:

• 2 years' of experience working in an industrial lab environment and/or as an HVAC Technician (or related profession)
• AAS Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent from an accredited college
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings/documentation
• Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of the principles of heat transfer technology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and data analysis skills, as well as solution focused!
• Bonus points if you have experience with LabVIEW or possess a Refrigeration certification!
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
