Responsibilities The Director, Patient Care provides oversight and direction in establishing and maintaining a system for developing, reviewing, approving and disseminating standards of clinical practice, such as quality, education, advanced practice and clinical operations within their respective division, as well as the medical center. This includes, but is not limited to, making recommendations on policy issues and technology needs regarding clinical practice, identifying opportunities to attain superior quality and safety at the best cost, implementing solution sets and ongoing evaluations of performance, as well as planning, directing and evaluating operational performance of the division.
