Position Summary: Nutrition Educator is a part-time role on Children's Aid's Go!Healthy SNAP-Ed team, working approximately 12 hours/week, with a primary focus on leading nutrition and cooking education workshops for youth participants. The SNAP-Ed program objectives are to develop healthy eating behaviors and increased physical activity among youth and families served by Children's Aid. Under the supervision of the Program Manager for Nutrition Education, the Nutrition Educator will implement SNAP-Ed workshops at select Children's Aid schools and community centers in the South Bronx, Harlem, and Washington Heights. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic educator with experience providing cooking-based nutrition education for elementary school-age youth. Essential Duties
