Description
The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision to assigned clinical staff and participates in administrative activities to support the program and service delivery. This role is part of our outpatient services team, which provides treatment for mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders to clients of all ages, including youth and adults. This Clinical Supervisor provides oversight to the case management function, in coordination with the clinical supervisor who oversees the therapy function.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in establishing standards and procedures for service delivery
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision to assigned outpatient clinical staff
- Oversees credentialing and license status of staff assigned
- Assists with case record reviews for quality and appropriateness of service delivery
- Attends community meetings in relationship to service delivery, as needed
- Works with Clinical Utilization Manager ensure quality clinical services are provided and that clinical documentation completed by staff meets agency and funder requirements
- Attends staff meetings, clinical team meetings, management team meetings, and Quality Improvement meetings
- Maintains a small caseload of therapy clients & intakes and maintains productivity of 30%
- Assigns, supervises, and monitors clinical activities of supervisees through individual and group supervision, review of clinical records, review of monthly productivity reports to ensure performance meets agency productivity and documentation requirements
- Helps with recruitment and selection of clinical staff and orients and trains new employees
- Provides on the job training and facilitates other staff development opportunities
- Evaluates staff performance annually
- Develops and implements corrective action plans with staff to address performance issues, as indicated
- Embraces utilization of Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) as applicable to populations served and commits to implementation and supervision of EBPs in accordance with fidelity requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

- Master's degree in counseling or related behavioral sciences
Experience
- 1-2 years' experience in clinical supervision or in related on the job education
- Experience and training in working with special populations (children, older adults, e.g.) credentials preferred
- Training in EBPs desired
Special Skills
- Bilingual/Bi-literate in English/Spanish preferred, but not required
- Possess and utilize effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and as a team member
- Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner within the community
- Good understanding of Catholic Charities guidelines, policies, and procedures
Licensure, Registration, Certification
- LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT
- Obtained, eligible, or meets eligibility requirements for Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential.
- Valid Washington driver's license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State
- Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider
Employment is conditional upon:
- Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required
Wage:$84,800 - $95,400 per year, depending on experience
Sign On Bonus:$4,000 (paid in 2 installments) - $8,000 (paid in 3 installments) depending on experience
Relocation: up to $5000
Schedule:Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
