Job Description:

The Toppan Merrill Solutions Sales Engineer role is responsible for providing support on an enterprise level software and services solution for various clients. The Solutions Sales Engineer has the primary objective of supporting the sales organization who is an "internal" client. The Solutions Sales Engineer will work directly with the sales organization to support them in presenting and selling Toppan Merrill software and services. The Solutions Sales Engineer will play a critical role in mapping and driving the Toppan Merrill solution and technology discussions during the sales process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical sales support throughout the sales cycle to drive opportunities and revenue.
  • Deliver and customize technical sales presentations on Toppan Merrill products and services and build new presentations for use by sales and the Client Advisory Services ("CAS") team.
  • Explain product capabilities, limitations, and implementation requirements and describe technical tradeoffs and implementation alternatives while balancing revenue opportunities.
  • Actively participate in sales calls involving complex technical requirements or multiple hardware platforms serving as the lead "technical" resource in the sales cycle.
  • Identify and develop innovative solutions to client requirements while managing client expectations.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field a plus

Minimum Experience

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in a direct client contact and consulting role preferably in technology services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individiuals.
  • Pro-active ability to anticipate client needs and problem solve solutions.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with internal/external clients/customers in a professional manner.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current on changing regulations and product enhancements.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Resources include but are not limited to such things as: Office supplies; shipping, delivery or messengers services (USPS, UPS, and all other carriers); Printing and reproduction equipment; company owned vehicles, and limousine or car services
  • Avoid frequent personal phone calls and internet use

We understand that your skills deserve recognition. That's why we offer a competitive pay scale ranging from $135,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience and expertise. In addition, this potion is eligible for a 20% target bonus incentive based on performance. We believe in compensating our dedicated team members fairly for their hard work and commitment. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
