Position Close Date:05/27/25 Position Summary: The Cook plans and prepares large batch meals in a fast-paced environment at the Women's Residential Center under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager. Individual must be able to maintain a clean kitchen and work area, and comply with sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards. Compensation: $18.61 - $24.83/hour (Depends on Experience and/or Certifications). This is a part-time position with excellent benefits! Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: Works in a kitchen using equipment such as stove, oven, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, mixer, and chefs knives to prepare food. Requires standing 4 or more hours a day. Employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, and noise. Schedule: This is a part-time position, 20 hrs. per week. Saturday and Sunday, and one weekday to be determined based on program needs.
