Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Business Analyst, Mid to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to collaborate closely with the company's various departments to assess processes and workflow, leveraging data analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning. By uncovering actionable insights and applying sound business judgment, this role empowers leadership to drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

***Preferred candidate in the Harrisburg, PA area***

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to program management and key decision makers.
  • Analyze business data to identify performance drivers, trends, and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Enhance decision support by developing and analyzing KPI performance against budget, company metrics, pricing models, and targets.
  • Lead resource planning, forecasting, and estimating using existing infrastructure, tools, and reports.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant business personnel to identify opportunities for leveraging analytics and AI to enhance services, processes, and products.
  • Assist in defining project objectives, deliverables, and timelines - ensuring their alignment with overarching business goals.
  • Develop clear and concise documentation of solution requirements, methodologies, outcomes, and recommendations, encompassing workflows, program functions, and guidance for the development or modification of systems and applications.
  • Work in tandem with the Operations Program Director to create detailed plans and specifications, including estimating time requirements, and tracking all phases of the project's product/service lifecycle.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of best practices and procedures for Operational efficiency.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 3+ years of business process analysis, resource planning, business operations analysis, and project management experience.
  • This position may require up to 5% travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent writing skills with experience producing content for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to document processes, both new and existing.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills applied to business challenges.
  • Proven project management and leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, documenting, and designing detailed process flows and establishing operational performance and quality metric standards and reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical internal/external customers.
  • Capacity to maintain a positive attitude and contribute both individually and as a team member to achieve the department's objectives.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
