The Task Order Project Manager serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:



  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery of all contract deliverables and compliance with the customer's requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet task order objectives.
  • Monitor and report on task order progress, risks, and issues, providing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Ensure all services under the task order meet or exceed established SLAs, including metrics related to incident response times, resolution times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to analyze performance data and implement corrective actions to address any SLA deficiencies.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and briefings to provide updates on task order performance, challenges, and accomplishments.
  • Foster strong working relationships with the customer's representatives, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and operational priorities.
  • Lead and supervise cross-functional teams delivering services under the task order, including Service Desk, Asset Management, Desktop Support, and Network/Systems Engineering personnel.
  • Coordinate staffing plans and resource assignments to ensure adequate coverage and skillsets for mission-critical operations.
  • Mentor and support team members to promote professional development and high-performance standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.


Required Qualifications:



  • Certifications:

    • DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Category IAM I
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or other recognized project management certification
    • ITILv4
    • HDI-M


  • Experience:

    • 10+ years of related experience that includes:

      • Five (5) years relevant experience
      • Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.


    • Education:

      • BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.


    • Citizenship and Clearance:

      • US Citizenship is required.
      • Must possess IT-II security clearance (DoD Secret) or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.


    • Location:

      • This is a remote position within the United Status requiring minimal travel (CONUS).






Work Environment and Physical Demand:



  • This position may require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000
