Job Summary: The Test Lab Technician will work in the R&D Engineering Lab and will be responsible for testing the electrical, mechanical, and environmental parameters or a wide range of fiber optical and coaxial products. This is an onsite position located at the East Syracuse, NY manufacturing facility and reports to the Lab Manager. Responsibilities:
Required Skills and Experience Education and Experience: Two year technical degree or equivalent certification with minimum two (2) years of experience within an electrical or fiber optic technician focused role. Knowledge & Skills: Validation test lab environment experience with optical, mechanical and electronic systems, including setting up tests within environmental chambers preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to utilize precision hand tools.
