A client of TEKsystems is seeking an AV Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between client needs and AV innovation-designing integrated solutions that shape the future of work. This is a design-driven, client-facing role ideal for a proactive professional who thrives at the intersection of creativity, engineering, and customer collaboration. What You'll Do * Support Sales Teams: Partner with sales during early client engagement, including site visits, needs assessments, and solution presentations. * Design Solutions: Create high-performance AV system designs (Zoom/Teams, Audio Systems, LED walls, Camera switching, Collaboration tools). * Develop Documentation: Produce equipment diagrams, infrastructure requirements, executive summaries, and cost estimates. * Client-Focused Engineering: Attend design meetings with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure alignment with vision and feasibility. * Showcase Technology: Coordinate with vendors to evaluate and present emerging technologies. * Project Handoffs: Ensure seamless transitions from design to implementation. * Quality Control: Review completed systems to ensure they meet design intent. * Drive Innovation: Stay current on AV trends and mentor peers through knowledge-sharing. What You Bring * 5+ years of experience in AV design or engineering. * CTS-D and/or CTS-I certification (preferred). * Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit (preferred). * Strong technical acumen and blueprint/schematic literacy. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word). * Detail-oriented with strong follow-through. * Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. * Collaborative and solutions-driven mindset. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
