Job Overview

Senior level professional analyst work, works in one or more areas of financial, business or budget analysis. Assists hospital management in making sound business decisions through analysis of existing programs, new programs and service lines. Possesses advanced skills to analyze all aspects of financial operations including revenue, expense and hospital reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • EXPERIENCE - Five years of experience in related field.
  • EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, one year of related professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
  2. Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory, or customer financial regulations.
  3. Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  4. Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
  5. Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
  6. Directs preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
  7. Interprets and applies corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting theory.
  8. Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
  9. Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
  10. Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts.
  11. Researches and prepares economic reports on subjects such as rate of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
  12. Assists organization's controller in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $82,095.81 to $123,143.72
Hourly Salary Range: $39.47 to $59.20

Children's Colorado delivers annual base pay increases to eligible team members based on their performance over the previous year.
