JOB SUMMARY

Performs a wide variety of time administration and payroll activities, including an understanding of time system impacts to regular and overtime payments. Process time and attendance for regular payroll cycle processing and historical adjustments from Kronos to PeopleSoft 9.2 per company policy. Ensure new hires and terminations are processed accurately in time system. Respond to employee time and attendance inquiries by evaluating and/or escalating questions to Payroll Time & Attendance Supervisor as needed. Although duties normally follow established procedures, responsibilities may include routine, minor corrections to make documents acceptable for processing. Works under general supervision.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required
  • Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience

  • 3 years of related experience with time and payroll knowledge.
Preferred
  • Education

  • Associate's Degree or

    Bachelor's Degree

JOB DUTIES
  • Time & Attendance Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely processing of employee time records in Kronos and PeopleSoft 9.2
  • Ensure that transactions are processed in compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as government agency regulations
  • Process time submittals and historical adjustments from Kronos through Oracle PeopleSoft Time and Labor
  • Support communication as needed for changes to deadlines due to holidays or other site operations that may impact deadlines
  • Track and respond to employee inquiries regarding work and non-work hours submitted through Kronos that impact an employee's pay
  • Support managers and other time approvers to ensure timely approvals.
  • Support new users by providing assistance using the Kronos time system
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
