The Opportunity

  • Facilities Coordinator at a Growth-Oriented Energy Company
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Contractor Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the day-to-day handling and execution of small facilities repairs, office renovations and office-maintenance projects.
  • Assists with large maintenance projects planning.
  • Oversees and manages furniture inventory acquisition and installation.

Key activities include:

  • Performs minor facilities maintenance and repair for the entire Kapolei facility (refinery and Hale O Hele).
  • Maintains office equipment, troubleshoots as deemed appropriate, places trouble calls to vendors or service companies when the issue cannot be resolved in-house.
  • Ensures service orders are met and independently identifies problems and works through the solutions.
  • Assists departments in identifying and resolving facilities issues.
  • Builds, dismantles, modifies office workspace as business needs require. Assists in designing office space layouts and renovations; determines size of space, layouts of furniture and office renovation options.
  • Maintaining records of company vehicles (safety checks, registration)
  • Enters purchase requisitions, notifications and other work orders into SAP.
  • Coordinates and approves entry into facilities. Serve as TWIC escort for service vendors as needed.
  • Provides administrative support around facilities management.
  • Executes a successful Preventative Maintenance (PM) Facilities Program.

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for employment, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To comply with the regulations at this work location, successful applicants must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Additional qualifications include:

  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in maintaining facilities required
  • Experience in maintaining an office and/or industrial environment desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other work order management systems a plus
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License with acceptable Driver's Abstract

Hiring Range:

The hiring range for this position is $72,000 to $82,000 per year.The candidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
