The Role

Assist in day-to-day operational activities for the Team USA department, providing administrative and clerical support to enhance the delivery of programs and services supporting the development of American players and coaches.

    Perform general administrative tasks to support Team USA key initiatives, including Junior, Collegiate, Professional, and Olympic/Paralympic pathways
  • Support projects and tasks related to player development, coaching initiatives, and Team USA events and activations
  • Assist with conference and meeting logistics for small to mid-sized gatherings, including guest list management, site coordination, shipping and receiving of materials, and supporting VIP and stakeholder experiences
  • Provide onsite event support at National Campus and Team USA events: player and coach check-in, prepare and distribute welcome packages and credentials, assist with equipment organization, and support tournament desk operations as needed
  • Coordinate and schedule conference calls, virtual meetings, and in-person meetings, including preparing agendas and tracking action items
  • Draft, edit, and format various documents such as meeting materials, letters, memos, reports, surveys, presentations, and event summaries
  • Compile and maintain accurate databases, distribution lists, and reports relevant to Team USA activities and communications
  • Provide virtual support for meetings and webinars, including presentation assistance, backend support, recording management, and distribution
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as document scanning, copying, mail processing, and shipping logistics
  • Track and report attendance and participation for Team USA meetings, trainings, and events
  • Process invoices, check requests, purchase orders, and travel reimbursements through Concur or other USTA platforms
  • Gather and maintain organized records for contracts, W9s, COIs, waivers, and other required documents
  • Make domestic and international travel arrangements for staff, coaches, and athletes as directed
  • Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director and Project Coordinator for Team USA
Who You Are
  • Equivalent administrative experience of a minimum of three years.
  • A tennis-playing background is helpful.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite & G-Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), Adobe Photoshop, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom & GoogleMeet.
  • Possess the ability to learn & manipulate new programs and processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interpersonal & organizational skills - clear, friendly written and verbal communicator with extreme attention to detail.
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" in Orlando and may allow remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements, as updated occasionally. Please consult HR for the most current policy

The expected salary for this position is $18.00 hourly rate and 25 - 28 hours a week. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
