We are seeking a talented and data-driven Marketing Data Analyst to join our Performance Marketing and Operations team. This person will translate complex marketing data into clear, actionable insights that shape our marketing strategy, campaign performance, web optimization, and customer engagement across the funnel.

The Marketing Data Analyst will create and evolve dashboards, reporting tools, and reports for marketing activities and websites, with the twin goals of improving market intelligence across the organization and empowering data-driven decisions. This role will also support Marketing and Web Operations teams by implementing website analytics tracking and building automated reporting solutions to streamline performance monitoring and reduce manual data handling.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reporting templates-leveraging automation or AI tools where appropriate-to support business and marketing objectives.
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations to inform business and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and insights delivery.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing ongoing performance analysis.
  • Implement and maintain website tagging and web tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM).


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 years of experience in marketing analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience gained through internships or capstone projects.
  • Proficiency in querying large datasets using SQL, Python, or similar data languages, with an openness to using AI-assisted tools to accelerate data exploration and analysis.
  • Experience applying advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Knowledge of marketing operations and marketing data practices
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities with critical thinking and innovation.
  • Experience applying strong data storytelling skills, with the ability to present findings visually and verbally in a clear, concise manner.
  • Experience in analytics roles with ownership of dashboards and centralized organizational metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and maintain multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Record of being highly detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to thorough documentation and data hygiene.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, Qualtrics, Hotjar, Semrush, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Google App Script and/or AI tools for reporting automation and workflow improvements.
  • Working knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools such as Amplitude, Looker Studio, and Power BI; Google Analytics 4 (GA4) experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of web tagging and event tracking, including maintenance of tracking setups using Google Tag Manager (GTM)


Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000/year.

Exemption Status: Exempt

Physical Requirements:

Role requires long periods of close concentration and multi-tasking in noisy/busy environment; must be able to travel occasionally; work overtime - more than 40 hours a week - as needed.

This is a hybrid role. 1-2 days a week is required in the New York, NY office.
