The role of the Printing Department Floater is responsible for ensuring smooth operations across various areas of the printing department by providing hands-on support and contributing to the efficiency and quality of our print production processes. Responsibilities * Collaborate with the Loader/Unloader to accurately place and arrange blank garments on the screen-printing machine. * Confirm design details by verifying garment color and quantity of pieces for each print run. * Work closely with the Printing Machine Operator to perform additional tasks as needed. * Assist in the screening department when necessary. * Prepare and mix ink for printing jobs when necessary. * Verify the quality of the designs once garments are printed. * Maintains and cleans the machine. * Keeps all sensitive matters confidential. * Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Enthusiastic positive person who embraces work with a sense of urgency and persistence * Functions as a team player to achieve team goals. * Able to perform well under pressure and adapt to change easily. * Proven attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to Operate fast-paced machinery. * Must be able to perform tasks that require repetitive handling/adjusting/inspecting/positioning of garments. * Ability to walk and stand for an 8-hour shift * Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 30 lbs. * Able to work overtime, including Saturdays if needed. * Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions (appropriate footwear). Education and Experience * Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
