Responsibilities
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Intake Counselor with recent behavioral health experience who will ensure that all intake calls are answered promptly and courteously. Provides Crisis Intervention, Telephonic Triage, and Clinical Assessments. Provides callers and families with Community Resources and Information; Obtains Admission Precertification. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with Internal and External Customers, including other Departments, Physicians, and the Emergency Departments. Works as a Team Player to ensure Customer Service to patients, families, and other Associates. Responsible for on-site and/or off-site assessments. SummitRidge Hospital -is a place for Healing and Hope! Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens). Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience in a psychiatric setting.
