Join a team of IT professionals in the development, maintenance and support of critical ISO New England applications. This position will work on a wide variety of applications and technologies in a focused and dynamic team environment.

How you will make an Impact
- Provide technical leadership to the IT team for core responsibilities in software/application enhancements, platform upgrades, and troubleshooting issues
- Strive to exceed customer expectations in delivering on IT initiatives, incident response, and application availability
- Manage vendor applications across multiple platforms, vendors, and business partners
- Meet with customers on a regular basis to provide updates and to coordinate and prioritize projects and enhancements
- Manage consultant work and time for some development and database support
- Report out to management on initiatives, projects, issues and key team metrics
- Work with other IT teams to coordinate work and troubleshoot issues
- Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously refine your technical and leadership skills, and foster a culture of learning within your team to drive innovation and growth.
- Lead by example, making informed decisions quickly and proactively removing roadblocks. Prioritize collaboration, mentoring, and enabling your team to deliver impactful solutions efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of people management experience
- 10+ years of experience configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting vendor applications
- 10+ years of experience in at least one database such as: SQL Server, Postgresql, or Oracle
- 10+ years of experience in at least one programming language such as: Java, Python, C++, or other relevant language
- Proficient with GIT or any other code repository/management system
- Experience in managing COTS applications across multiple platforms, vendors, and business partners
- Familiarity navigating in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Desired, but not required:
- Experience in AWS and cloud native technologies such as containers, container orchestration services such as, ECS, Lambda, EKS etc
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Experience with use of a ticketing system for open issues and assignments
