Now hiring a Manager-Financial Reporting

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring a Manager-Financial Reporting to provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis for PHS service lines to senior management. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis for PHS eight service lines. Evaluate performance variances and assist senior leadership of these entities in identifying improvement opportunities. Coordinate and manage the preparation of the long-range financial plan, capital plans and the annual budget in conjunction with senior leadership and each functional area. Safeguard the assets and ensure the integrity of the financial records of PHS

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required in Accounting or related field, with four to five years of health care accounting experience. Prefer CPA license.


Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates the general ledger reporting and analysis, from the sources of data through the preparation of financial statements. Includes the verification and authentication of information received from the feeder systems, adjusting and reclassifying journal entries, the consolidation and publication of financial statements, and the preparation and distribution of various reports for the eight service lines .

  • Assists and coordinates the preparation of the annual budget, capital plans and the long-range financial plan with senior leadership and the identified functional areas.

  • Conducts ongoing variance analysis and other operational support. Participates in the identification of opportunities for improvement and the preparation of corrective action plans as needed.

  • Reviews and interprets the actuarial estimates provided for malpractice and pension accounting purposes.
