Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Uranium Conversion and Recovery Manager in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Uranium Conversion and Recovery (UCAR) Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:




  • Maintains an open-door policy and supportive work environment for all department employees.



  • Coaches six direct supervisors who manage a group of 60 people working 24-5 and 24-7 shift schedules.



  • Uses their communication skills to grow newer operators and support long-term employees in technical support and operations areas.



  • Daily monitors the status of operations by reviewing logs and taking Gemba walks.



  • Makes accurate decisions in a timely manner with emerging or limited data.



  • Maintains production to Ceramics production center to avoid any slow down or stoppage of work.



  • Foresees and understands the interrelationships between the various process and work to fulfil those needs for efficient operation.



  • Supports Waste operations by ensuring all classes of waste are handled and disposed of per Federal and State regulations.

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $143,000 - $194,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
