Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to process wafers, DIEs, and packaged components in a cleanroom environment. This position involves executing multiple operations based on written specifications, conducting manual and computer-based data entry for process tracking, and collaborating across various teams and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to cleanroom protocols for handling wafers, DIEs, and packaged components.
  • Utilize microscopes and small hand tools for precision tasks.
  • Interpret technical drawings for accurate component placement.
  • Conduct critical operations, including seam sealing, leak testing, wafer dicing, sandblasting, and visual inspections according to Microchip quality standards.
  • Operate production equipment such as plasma cleaners and ovens.
  • Accurately input process data and sign-offs in computer systems.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with microscopes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail with minimal supervision required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling delicate materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing or cleanroom settings.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S.
  • Proficient in leak testing, seam sealing, and operating dicing saws.

Work Environment:
This role involves standing or sitting for extended periods and working in a cleanroom environment while wearing proper attire (e.g., gown, gloves, mask). Attention to cleanliness, contamination control, and safety protocols is essential.

Schedule:

  • M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm
