The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as a Behind-the-Scenes Experiences Tour Guide. Position Summary: This position promotes the mission of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden through the support of the Behind-the-Scenes program as well as support of the Wild Encounters program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Position Details: This is a part-time year round position offering 25-30 hours per week, with a maximum of 1,500 hours per year.
Working Conditions/Other Requirements:
Employment is contingent upon passing a drug screen and satisfactory background investigation. While performing the duties of the job, the incumbent is regularly required to stand & walk for long periods of time while leading tours, and have the manual dexterity to use computer mouse and keyboard. The incumbent will be exposed to outside weather conditions and must be able to lift/move/carry up to 25 pounds without assistance, must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable to drive a Zoo vehicle and have reliable transportation. Must be able to work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
