About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AV/VC Solutions Technician to lead the design, strategy, and implementation of enterprise-grade audio-visual and video conferencing solutions across our global office footprint. This senior-level role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong critical thinking and collaboration with collaborators.

You'll play a key role in shaping the future of how our employees connect, communicate, and collaborate - from conference rooms and event spaces to hybrid work solutions and executive AV environments.

Responsibilities



  • Lead the design of scalable, secure, and user-centric AV/VC solutions for meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and special-use areas.


  • Develop and own the AV/VC technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with company-wide digital workplace strategy and hybrid work initiatives.


  • Evaluate emerging technologies, vendors, and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Crestron, Logitech, etc.) to enhance collaboration experiences.


  • Define and document AV/VC standards, best practices, and design guidelines for global deployment.


  • Partner with Workplace, IT Infrastructure, and Real Estate teams on new office builds, retrofits, and AV system upgrades.


  • Collaborate with vendors, integrators, and internal partners to ensure successful deployment and support.


  • Act as escalation point and technical advisor for complex AV/VC issues and executive-level support needs.


  • Drive continuous improvement through data, user feedback, and post-deployment reviews.


  • Lead proof-of-concept pilots and test labs for AV innovation and system interoperability.


Qualifications



  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise AV/VC engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.


  • Proven experience in designing and deploying AV/VC systems at scale, across multiple sites and use cases.


  • Strong knowledge of AV/VC platforms (Teams, Zoom,Webex, etc.) and hardware ecosystems (Crestron, Logitech, Poly, Shure, QSC, etc.).


  • Strong knowledge of AV/VC tools (Teams Admin Center, Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Management, Poly Lens)


  • Familiarity with AV-over-IP, digital signage, control systems, and room scheduling tools.


  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure and its impact on AV systems.


  • Superb communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.


  • Experience with global standards and working with cross-functional and international teams.


  • CTS-D or CTS-I certification a plus.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$95,000 $142,400 USD
