Job Title: Senior Architect Lead
Location(s): Jersey City, NJ
Qualifications
- Must have 10+ years of proven experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale BlueCat DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM), project delivery with focus on performance optimization and scalability.
- Deep understanding of network architecture designs with In-depth knowledge of DNS, NTP, IPAM, BIND, and DHCP.
- Knowledge on network management and monitoring platforms
- Recommend network improvements, including cost/benefit analysis, to meet changing business requirements.
- BlueCat DDI Platform Certifications are required.
- Network Automation (Ansible, Python, etc.) a plus.
- Sharp troubleshooting faculties, deductive reasoning, and careful attention to detail.
- Independent and self-directed work ethic when participating in a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written to develop technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to perform under pressure and detail oriented.
- Dedicated commitment to service availability and quality user experience.
- Must be results driven with a strong sense of urgency.
Responsibilities
- Design and architecture of a global BlueCat DDI network infrastructure.
- Lead architect responsible for designing, developing, and managing a large and complex deployment of DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure to meet the organizations business needs.
- Responsible for managing address allocations and integrity of the data in the IPAM, ARIN, RIPE, and Domain Registrars.
- Development of service and technology standards across the network footprint.
- Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget.
- Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation.
- Develop and maintain standards and designs for DDI network infrastructure and global IP registrars.
- Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required.
- Work closely with senior management, and network engineering and operations teams.
- Enhances efficiency via automation when and wherever possible.
- Act as an escalation engineer for high severity network related production issues, work with engineers and various vendors to identify tactical and strategic solutions.
