Job Description

We're seeking a highly organized, experienced, and strategic Senior Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-impact events that elevate our brand, engage key stakeholders, and drive business outcomes. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end event execution-including strategy, logistics, budgeting, content development, and on-site coordination-while also handling key administrative functions such as budget tracking, scheduling, and vendor contracting.

The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker with a strong background in both event, production and operational administration, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Remote role. Travel is required (10-20%).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale conferences, internal meetings, client events, and executive programs (virtual, hybrid, and in-person)
  • Works on and develops critical event elements, including but not limited to venue selection, project planning and project management, agenda development, event flow, speaker sourcing, theme ideation, creative/branding development, promotion/social activities, content development, materials production, on-site management, communication planning, F&B ordering, space planning, rooming lists and other hotel activities, air and ground transportation arrangements, housing processes,and more
  • Board meeting coordination, as needed, and additional project assistance in various capacities to support evolving team needs
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, run-of-shows, and production schedules. This includes budget development, tracking and reconciliation of all meeting expenses.
  • Lead vendor sourcing and management, including venues, AV, production, catering, travel, and staffing
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, communications, and executive teams to ensure event content, messaging, and experience align with business objectives
  • Coordinate pre-event logistics, including registration, invitations, signage, collateral, and shipping of event materials
  • Manage administrative tasks such as PO/invoice tracking, calendar management, event documentation, and post-event reporting
  • Own or support contract negotiation and execution, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements
  • Support executive travel, briefing materials, and prep sessions for speaking engagements
  • Act as the on-site lead, managing run-of-show and resolving live issues with professionalism and calm
  • Track and analyze event success metrics to inform continuous improvement
  • Ensure consistency in brand representation, messaging, and attendee experience across all touchpoints
  • Stay current on industry trends and recommend innovative formats and technologies to elevate future events
  • Management/ support for internal website (SharePoint) updates and development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in event management, with a track record of delivering successful programs at scale
  • Experience managing budgets of $500K+, including vendor contracts, cost negotiation, and reconciliation
  • Strong administrative skills, including scheduling, PO/invoice processing, contract management, and stakeholder communications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and clients
  • Proficiency with event platforms (e.g., Cvent) and project management tools
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Comfortable leading onsite execution and problem-solving in real-time
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%, depending on event needs

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $92,000-$110,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
