Role Summary

As a Marketing Operations Lead at Rivian, you will spearhead the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns and programs, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and brand. This role involves overseeing the entire marketing campaign lifecycle, from intake and opportunity definition, to creative asset development and production, to owned and paid media channel strategy integration, to launch and campaign analysis and reporting. You'll collaborate closely with brand, creative, and product teams, driving campaign success by optimizing workflows, effectively managing budgets and leadership approvals, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets that resonate with target audiences. This role will be highly collaborative and will require you to navigate ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.


Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Lead cross-functional teams to design and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including product and software launches, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Build a strong understanding of the brand and marketing team's objectives. Ensure campaigns meet industry best practices and brand guidelines.
  • Timeline & Budget Management: Manage end-to-end production timelines and budgets efficiently.
  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve end-to-end workflows with the goal of simplifying and building for scale.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide campaign updates and reporting that analyzes campaign performance. Communicate effectively and influence without authority.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with key marketing stakeholders including creative leads, brand managers, producers, copywriters, channel strategists as well as cross-functional stakeholders including product (hardware and software), communications, etc.
  • Market Research: Assess market demand and owner research to provide insights for product positioning and develop KPIs for successful launches. Develop deep qualitative and quantitative customer insights to advise marketing strategies.
  • Goals & KPIs: Define measurable objectives to ensure campaign alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in advertising, marketing or creative production project management and operations.Proven ability to communicate effective, earn trust and build strong relationships
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and/or multiple fast-paced campaigns, both digital and experiential
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations and production workflows.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to analyze performance and make optimization recommendations.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and a willingness to problem solve and pivot when required.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with a strong bias to action.
  • Strong program management experience, including building campaign calendars/trackers, and following up relentlessly to hit deadlines.
  • Proficient in Jira, Figma, Slack, and Google Suite.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $125,000 to $156,200 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
