Overview: Loureiro Engineering Associates is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our Plainville, CT team.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders. This role involves data collection, cleaning, validation, statistical analysis, and dashboard building to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, develop reports, and create visualizations that effectively communicate findings. This position requires proficiency in data analysis tools and software, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate data into strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability to support trustworthy business intelligence solutions.
  • Cleanse and validate data, reviewing Power BI reports and outputs to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
  • Gather data from diverse sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and third-party systems, while maintaining data systems and ensuring data integrity.

Requirements:

  • Exposure to Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets.
