Job ID: 3998 The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking for a reliable Facilities Technician to help maintain our 17-building complex and support over 900 employees. The facilities team often works closely with Engineers to support varied program needs. The selected candidate will gain work experience in a variety of trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, woodworking, painting, and carpentry.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to effectively utilize e-mail and spreadsheets
- Willingness to perform facilities support outside of core business hours as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of trades
- Willing to travel as needed
- Preventative Maintenance Experience
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to carry, push, pull, drag, or hold up to 40 pounds
- Ability to spend substantial time walking, standing, pulling, and reaching
*Salary Range
- $33,500-$52,500
- Salary commensurate based on education and experience
