DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and analytical support for contracting activities in your assigned program areas. This includes but is not limited to the processing of complex procurements including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), contract management work in SRM; and more. You will also have the opportunity to complete special projects as deemed necessary by the Director of Administration (DA).

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $80,000.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
- Four years of experience processing complex procurements including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and contract management work in SRM; and
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have experience with Jaggaer.
- You must reside in or be willing to relocate to Pennsylvania and maintain residency for the entirety of your employment with the agency.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
