Job Overview:

Reporting to the Product Support Manager, this position is responsible for providing post sales Parts Identification support on Gardner Denver, Champion, and DV Systems products.

Responsibilities:


  • Navigate appropriate systems to identify Part Numbers and Documentation on current production and legacy products

  • Knowledge Article management execution to improve technician effectiveness with faster access to solutions and knowledge base such as part number reference sheets to ensure field personnel have access to latest updates and data

  • Pro-active approach to resolving customer issues, taking responsibility to lead as required driving corrective actions and following through to conclusion.

  • Participate in New Product Development projects to review customer documentation

  • Requires direct customer contact, needs to be confident, courteous and professional in all situations.

  • Load repetitive quality and reliability issues into the Quality & Reliability Management System (QRMS).

  • Create standard work practice documents to support task repeatability and load in team business operating system (BOS)

  • Research and clear order blocks



Requirements:


  • 5+ years' experience in technical work environment.



Core Competencies:


  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to influence others at different levels

  • Planning and organizational skills with effective timely follow up.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical data/specifications/drawings



Preferences:


  • Associate's Degree

  • Experience and ability to work effectively acting on own initiative with minimal supervision requirement.

  • Self-motivation and ability to make and defend complex decisions.

  • MS Office skills - proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word essential

  • Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Salesforce and Windchill preferred.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude as demonstrated in experience with servicing air compressors, positive displacement blowers, or related mechanical/electrical equipment
