Head of HR Americas - Nutrition & Bioindustry

The Role:
We are looking for our next Head of HR Americas, Nutrition & Bioindustry within our HR Team. The Head of HR Americas will be responsible for developing and executing Human Resources strategies that support Roquette's business objectives across the Americas region. This critical leadership role will partner with the BG NORAM Managing Director and his Leadership Team, translating strategic and tactical business plans into HR operational plans, and delivering all HR processes in collaboration with Employees, Managers, and the HR community.

This position is in our Geneva, IL office

Compensation:
The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $197,790- $267,700. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement the People strategy for Nutrition & Bioindustry Business group, supporting business goals, regional growth, and employee satisfaction.

  • Act as an ambassador supporting change management plans and processes across the area.

  • Drive the implementation of global HR policies, directives, and processes for the perimeter.

  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture to enhance employee engagement.

  • Lead initiatives for diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

  • Monitor social climate in the area and co-drive Employee Communication plans.

  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and employee development.

  • Partner with regional leadership to forecast workforce needs and develop talent strategies.

  • Lead, prepare, and animate the people review process, ensuring adequate actions and development plans.

  • Manage and develop a team of Senior HR Managers.

What You'll Need:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience with a focus on the Americas region.

  • Proven track record in strategic HR leadership, talent management, and employee engagement.

  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations in the Americas.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Experience in a global or multinational company within the food ingredients or related industry is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Manage and develop a team of Senior HR Managers.

Work Environment:

  • This role spends approximately 50% of the time in an office environment and 50% of the time in the plant environment.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; work in hot, cold and loud environments. Employees must be able to wear a respirator.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position. Days and flexible hours of work are required to meet facility demands.

Business Travel:

  • Travel will be required when working on projects at other manufacturing plants (currently US, Canada, Brazil).

  • 80% of projects take place in Keokuk, IA.

  • Occasional international travel may be expected.
