Janitorial Technician

Pay: $18-$22 an hour

Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

While working as a Janitorial Technician, you will have a wide variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Performing and documenting daily inspections of the building's interior and exterior
• General janitorial duties including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, and dusting
• Disinfecting common touch points daily
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms
• Trash collection and disposal
• Spot cleaning as needed
• Stocking and maintaining inventory of supplies
• Cleaning clinical areas in accordance with safety and policy guidelines
• Performing basic building repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, restocking consumables)
• Operating cleaning machines (vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers) and hand tools

This role also requires the physical ability to handle equipment, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing stairs, and stooping.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2-4 years of experience in janitorial services, ideally in a clinical or healthcare environment. A clean driving record is required. Candidates must be able to read, write, and understand English, provide excellent customer service to staff, and be reliable and punctual in all weather conditions. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, MSDS sheets, and safe handling procedures is a must. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable using email, filling out reports, and working within a CMMS Work Order system.
