If you have experience in Extrusion, Injection Molding, or Plastics Manufacturing, this is the role for you!

Position Details:



  • Shift: 3rd Shift (11:30 PM - 8:00 AM); Training on 1st Shift for 2-3 Weeks
  • Pay Rate: $15/hr - $19.74/hr
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire



What You'll Be Doing:

Machine Operation:



  • Operate pelletizer machines to stack and organize finished plastic products according to production specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings to accommodate different product sizes, weights, and packaging requirements.


Quality Control:



  • Inspect finished plastic pellets to ensure they meet quality standards and production guidelines.
  • Identify and report defective products or packaging issues to supervisors.


Safety Compliance:



  • Follow company safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards related to machine operation.


Maintenance and Troubleshooting:



  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of pelletizer machines to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or escalate issues to maintenance personnel.


Inventory Management:



  • Properly label, document, and organize pallets for storage or shipping.
  • Work with warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory records.


Team Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with production line staff to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs and concerns.

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a pelletizer machine operator or in a similar role in a plastic manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of machine operations and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for operating machine interfaces and record-keeping.
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices.



Working Conditions:



  • This role is performed in a manufacturing environment and is not climate-controlled.
  • Requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced setting.
