How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The R&D process specialist role in the Solid Precursors Development team under Chemical Technology Development (CTD) organization of ALAM is part of a large team focused on developing new products for ALAM, with the particular focus on new solid precursors evaluation, manufacturing process development and scale up, industrialization, process reliability improvement, and advanced analytical technique development.

The V.I.E., an international young graduate program, enables young professionals who are less than 28 and European Union nationals to work for a French company in any country of the world. Becoming part of this program means going abroad to carry out a professional assignment for up to 24 months whilst benefiting from social care coverage and an interesting salary, which depends on the host country.

Mission Description:

* Drive a culture of ""Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time"" with their actions and their words on a daily basis.
* Co-lead the solid precursor development project to scale up the synthesis, purification, and analyze novel solid precursor molecules from gram to multi-kilogram scale.
* Address the in-line analysis challenges in solid precursor treatment process.
* Closely work with development engineers/process specialist to scale up and industrialize precursor manufacturing and treatment processes.
* Closely work with packaging team to develop testing/treatment methods, perform related packaging flow tests, and post treatment of precursors in their final packaging.
* Interface with product management and quality team to develop the new products through internal stage gate process, and meet customers' quality review process.
* Interface with various function groups such as sales, marketing, safety, quality, supply chain, etc.
* Interface with customers to understand their process challenges, and provide solutions.
* Summarize and present project updates.

The VIE is expected to grow into a chemical manufacturing expert with strong R&D, process development, and project management expertise.

Education : Master's Dregree in chemistry or chemical engineering

Soft and Hard Skills

Must have:
- a proven track of records of safely handling hazardous chemicals in an academic or manufacturing environment
- excellent writing and communication skills
- experience with analytical instrumentation, methodology development, and data analysis for air-sensitive compounds, including NMR, TGA, FT-IR, Raman, and PXRD, etc.

Nice to have:
- hands-on experience with handling air and moisture sensitive molecules

Languages English fluency is Must have
