Senior Project Manager

A Senior Project Manager job is currently available at Belcan in Fort Worth, TX, 76118. We are seeking a talented aerospace professional to join our exciting team with focus on engineering design and test of avionics and defense products, with a focus on certifiable systems and software. A great matching candidate will have excellent customer relationship development skills along with experience in utilizing traditional project monitor and control measures in the context of an agile scrum framework. Assignments involve supporting project leadership and coordination along with coordination across integrated project teams. Tasks may include supporting roles for multiple small projects or project management for a large project.

Job Duties:
* Capture, refine, and present project management needs for customer"s engineering development phase activities such as detailed tracking visuals, process changes, or new scope.
* Develop and manage relationship matrix and drive strategy to maintain high customer satisfaction.
* Create and maintain technical project schedules. Monitor and control a portion of an integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including resource loading, critical path, program milestones and how these affect the project. Lead meetings to perform schedule status updates; updating progress on tasks, perform task additions/removals, and linkage updates as needed.
* Evaluate project timelines, deadlines, and budget, identify potential delays and overruns, and facilitate risk migrations.
* Support Product Owner responsibilities.
* Lead efforts with technical team to estimate future activities.
* Analyze correctness and completeness of project plans with respect to industry standards such as DO-178C or MIL-STD-882E.
* Coordinate between Technical Leads, Control Account Managers, and client on Earned Value Management (EVM) plans and status.
* Develop and maintain spreadsheet-driven reports and charts; capture and maintain supporting data.
* Initiate and support business development in coordination with account managers.

Required Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
* Experience: Minimum of 10 years of engineering project management experience in certifiable aerospace systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including presentation development for upper management.
* Strong experience with MS Excel including development of status tracking visuals.
* Self-starter and excels at building teamwork.
* Very organized with strong attention to detail.
* Organic business development acumen.
* Agile Scrum experience.
* Occasional travel may be required.
* Secret Clearance or willingness/ability to obtain Secret Clearance to support cleared projects.
* Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience with Primavera P6, Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft Project.
* Software engineering background in the Aerospace industry.
* DO-178C planning document development and audit hosting experience.
* Experience in project estimation including extracting accurate estimates from a technical team.
* Engineering services management experience.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $150,000 to $180,000.
