TEKsystems is building up a team of experienced Data Center Technicians in the surrounding Mount Pleasant area to join a rapidly growing company as their Data Centers are being built. The tentative start date will be late June / early July. Apply here for more information! Description As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our data center operations. Your primary duties will include racking and stacking, fiber cabling, troubleshooting, and installing servers and other networking equipment. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth functioning of our data center infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: * Rack and stack servers and networking equipment. * Perform fiber cabling and ensure proper connectivity. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues. * Install and configure servers and other data center equipment. * Monitor data center performance and address any operational issues. * Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain data center best practices. Qualifications: * 3-5 years of experience working in data centers or previous IT experience. * Proficiency in racking and stacking, fiber cabling, and troubleshooting. * Strong knowledge of server installation and networking equipment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $44.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
