Summary of Position

The Director acts as a strategic financial business partner for the organization while overseeing the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning/analysis for all corporate overhead functions. This role provides leadership, financial/business acumen, and oversight to drive planning, execution and achievement of Company financial objectives and goals. The role will also serve as the finance admin for Workday and the overall headcount management process. This highly visible role provides leadership and is responsible for fostering cross-functional relationships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving financial performance through effective team leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to the leaders of the Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Marketing, and Chief Medical areas
• Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the shared service areas with regards to short-term and long-term goals, budgets and forecasts. Provide insight and recommendations
• Work with accounting team to understand actual results and translate that to forecast
• Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reporting including monthly analysis vs forecast vs budget; review and analysis of the monthly financial results to provide insights and actionable plans to the leaders of the organization
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process including working closely with leadership to develop annual budgets, track performance against targets and provide regular financial forecast updates
• Analyze financial performance, provide insights and make recommendations to optimize financial outcomes and cost efficiencies
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting of below the line expense items working with multiple groups across the company
• Act as the finance admin for the headcount management process across the company
• Manage a team of 2 people

Qualifications Expected for Position

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) such as MBA - Preferred
• Progressive corporate finance experience totaling 8-10 years
• Experience with Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Office and visualization tools and full scale automation experience a plus
• Experience partnering and collaborating with senior business leaders and interacting well with internal associates at all levels and across multiple lines of business.
• Ability to function through and lead change/transformation
• A commitment to transparency and collaboration.
• Ability to manage large amounts of information and multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment within deadlines
• Be a strong advocate of data automation across functional groups and transparent communication flow.
• Results oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful team player at ease in a dynamic collaborative environment.

The base salary range for this position is$165,000 - $170,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here:Teladoc Health Benefits 2025.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
