Description

The Pricing and Credit Financial Analyst plays an important role in performing analysis of transaction economics and risk across multiple commercial aviation aircraft and engine types involving deals for portfolio acquisitions, sale-leasebacks, aircraft placements, and financing structures. This is a great opportunity to join the largest freighter leasing team to contribute to key strategic decisions in a collaborative environment.

In this role, you will work across finance, technical and commercial teams to perform cashflow sensitivity models to forecast scenarios, financial returns, and propose structures to maximize value and mitigate risk.

The ideal candidate combines solid financial modelling skills, enthusiasm for aviation, insightfulness, and clear communications. Prior relevant associate level experience in an accounting, finance, or credit role. A passion for aviation is a plus.

Duties:



  • Analyze trading opportunities, lease transactions, and financing scenarios for mid-life aircraft.
  • Maintain and adapt advanced financial models to perform deal evaluation and portfolio analysis.
  • Forecast cashflows and asset values based on aircraft technical and maintenance condition.
  • Perform credit evaluations and rankings using financial statement analysis.
  • Support strategic decision-making with well-supported sensitivity analysis and assist in recommending deal transactions.
  • Work with commercial team to develop financial terms and conditions for leases and support customer negotiations.
  • Prepare internal approvals and present insights across department stakeholders.


Minimum Requirements & Qaulifications:



  1. Bachelor's Degree in aviation, finance, accounting, economics or related field from an accredited university.
  2. 2-4 years' combined experience in leasing, finance, investing, lending or other similar experience.
  3. Solid Excel modelling skills, with keen ability to adapt and build complex analytical tools.
  4. Understanding of lease structures, maintenance economics, and cashflow return metrics IIRR, ROE, yield).
  5. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of employees, management, customers, and sales prospects.
  6. Time management skills to meet deadlines, detail-oriented, inquisitive, proactive, highly motivated.
  7. Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload of assigned areas within a multiple project setting.
  8. Positive, flexible, and service-oriented attitude toward internal and external customers.
