Job Title: Data & Infrastructure Analyst Summary: Under the direction of the IT Group, the Data & Infrastructure Analyst will lead all development and maintenance of the company's data warehouse that supports analytic deliverables in addition to data modeling. The analyst will also work with and support enterprise analytics and BI dashboards. This position will ensure best in class principles and standards related to the company's global dataset. Responsibilities: As the Data & Infrastructure Analyst you will:
- Configure and manage data infrastructure components, including databases, data warehouses and data lakes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and implement optimizations to enhance reliability.
- Design and maintain data models, schemas and database structures to support operations, sales and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain integrations with internal and external data sources and API's, such as multiple ERP's and Salesforce.
- Evaluate and implement data storage solutions, including relational databases, data lakes and cloud storage.
- Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop Extract, Transform, Load processes to integrate data from diverse sources into the USSC data ecosystem.
- Work with BI tools and modeling to support FP&A and operational partners that will use the data.
- Interface with operational stakeholders to help develop dashboard outputs.
- Query, analyze and transform complex data sets into usable datasets for the FP&A team.
- Work with Operations and Business Analysts to gather organization requirements and build the data model that supports dashboard development.
- Comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable designs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation that includes designs, workflows and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements You're a great fit for this position if this describes you;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics or other related fields.
- 3+ years of Business Intelligence reporting.
- 3+ years BI tool experience (Tableau, Power BI or Qlik).
- Experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Management.
- Experience with large data sets across multiple data sources.
- Able to update and write SQL code required to extract data from source systems.
- Understanding of Azure environment leveraging multiple data sources.
- Excellent interpersonal, team cooperation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail is a must with a focus on executive quality presentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, professionalism, and diplomacy in producing error-free documents and interacting with diverse audiences.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, with time constraints while responding and adapting to change favorably.
