Job Description: Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Staging/Kitting Specialist (Contract) to join our team based in Columbus, MS. Perform activities associated with the ordering, shipping, and movement of materials and tools required to support maintenance aircraft activities, in accordance with contractual customers' request. Perform activities associated with planning and reporting of resources (material availability, shortages, statuses, deliveries, etc.) and communicate with other supporting departments to ensure internal and external material logistic demands are satisfied. Prepare and submit material request in CAMMS/LMMS to responsible contact. Enter material receipts, material returns, and issue materials in CAMMS/LMMS to appropriate contact. Issue materials from AHI warehouse as required. Receive parts from warehouse and verify quantities and documentation. Create delivery notes for outbound shipments. Research and troubleshoot incoming and outgoing material logistic issues.
2. Configuration and Control: 40%
Control and maintain Government owned inventory/property for materials removed from aircraft. Control and maintain CLS owned inventory and coordinate with LUH Programs on reorder points. Control, inventory, and maintain maintenance material delivered with the aircraft (loose equipment, S.B. kits, etc.) Coordinate and track material deliveries to the maintenance floor. Meet core material return metrics and provide material list as required. Control and execution of all outbound material shipments including tools, cores, inspections and testing.
3. Organizing and Reporting: 20%
Coordination and communication, with supporting departments, to meet customer schedule. Creation and maintenance of data base for reporting material status, shortages, and KPI's. Ensure maintenance boards are updated to reflect material statuses and visibility to Industry. Attend all assigned meetings for maintenance activities and report statuses as required.

This position is the key interface and contact for all operational logistic requirements for LUH Maintenance Aircraft. Ensures all applicable material and certification is available to Industry, to ensure aircraft remains on schedule, per customers' requirements. Responsible for securing and tracking all Government owned material that may come loose with, or be removed from the aircraft, for maintenance. This also includes the tracking of material removed, that may be shipped to the OEM for modification or repair. Responsible for controlling and coordinating the reordering of CLS owned material, being installed on Government Aircraft, which are undergoing maintenance.
