The YMCA is seeking four Youth Construction Site Coordinators to support the delivery of this summer's ComEd Youth Construct Infrastructure (Youth Construct). This is a temporary, part-time position. Youth Construct is focused on providing rising high school juniors and seniors with exposure to the energy utility field as well as providing a foundation of key employability skills including interview skills, professional social media presence, presentation skills, and teamwork. Pay rate starts at $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the ComEd Construct Youth Infrastructure Program and its required deliverables.
- Coordinate delivery of all program components including working with colleagues across the association to coach program participant on a range of skills as set forth in the Youth Construct program outline
- Participation in all field trips and securing appropriate number of chaperones
- Complete all data entry and grant reporting requirements
- Create an inspiring environment that supports participant retention and parental engagement
- Ensure program participants meet all requirements and successfully complete the ComEd Construct Youth Infrastructure program
- Other duties as assigned as it relates to program implementation
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of work experience
- Some experience with workforce development programs
- Enthusiasm for working with under-resourced youth and commitment to delivery of positive youth development programs like Youth Construct
- Self-directed and reliable in meeting program requirements with fidelity
- Team player who enjoys collaboration with colleagues across silos
- Creative problem solver
Child Abuse Prevention - Supports the YMCA's commitment to child abuse prevention by:
- Reporting any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisor
- Following all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children

- Completing all child abuse prevention training as required
